Why I am now, a jogger.

Well, to be honest, I am not technically a jogger yet. I have done a few runs, but not enough to actually call myself a jogger. However, I do want to become one. Maybe even become a RUNNER one day. Hmmm, not sure about that though.
This blog is going to track my (hopeful) transformation from unfit bookworm, to super fit bookworm jogger. We will see, anyway.
I have no idea exactly what this blog will entail, but it shall be interesting to see if I survive the year. One of my New Years Resolutions was to be able to run 5 kilometres in 30 minutes by the end of this year, 2012. So I am actually going to attempt it. This, is me attempting it.
To be honest, I actually enjoy running, I just don't know whether I can be disciplined about it and actually stick to a program to improve. I would really like to compete, and so I am going to sign myself up for a few races here in Tasmania.
They will most likely be charity races however, because Tassie is not exactly the running capital of the world. I am looking forward to them with equal parts apprehension and excitement.
So that is all for this post. I will post everytime that I run, so this may turn out to be a very infrequent blog.
Now please excuse me, I am going to go and read a book.
Bookworm signing off.
